Secundum Bellum Iudaicum
Appearance
Secundum Bellum Iudaicum (115–117) (Hebraice: מרד הגלויות: mered ha'galuyot, vel mered ha'tfutzot (מרד התפוצות); Latine: seditio exilii) est series seditionum Iudaeorum in Cyrenaica, Cypro, Mesopotamia et Aegypto habitantium, quae in diffusam trucidationem Romanorum aliorumque (200 000 in Cyrene, 240 000 in Cypro secundum Cassium Dionem) a seditiosis Iudaeis factam progressa est. Narratio autem Cassii Dionis et numerus mortuorum his diebus critice disputantur. Seditiones tandem a copiis Romanis Lusio Quieto duce oppressae sunt, ex cuius nomine postea in "Kitos" corrupto seditio etiam "Seditio Kitos" vocabatur.
